Description

Using a Cisco 7941, with a Cisco UMC520, when the DND soft key is hit, the phone displays 'DND' on the display. Any further calls do not ring, but the line key will flash instead.

Currently hitting the DND button with Freeswitch as the server will only detect the button press as an unknown button.

Yes, DND has not been implemented yet.

I think this should be in Freeswitch core.

You can propose a patch.

I currently don't have time to implement this one.

Can someone do a network capture of the following scenarios with a Cisco Call Manager?

1: receive a call and answer it (with DND disabled)
2: press DND buton (enable DND)
3: receive a call and answer it (with DND enabled)
4: press DND buton (disable DND)

With such a capture, it will be easy to implement.

There are some skinny messages in the capture unknown to wireshark. It needs some digging.
