Description

Borrow from Philip Hands' freeswitch packaging tree the handling of modules.conf: this means bringing a modules.conf inside debian/ instead of appending the debian package conf to the bundled configuration. This way i think is easier to compare the config file bundled in build/modules.conf.in with the debian packaging one or tweak the configuration without messing with debian/rules.

A clarification, the modules.conf has been generated from debian/rules so the configuration should be the same as before, otherwise it is my fault and was not intended.

Let me have a thought over that. I am trying to keep the method to generate modules.conf the same over spec and debian so that I do not have to maintain different versions of it. Your way is nice but it also means more work maintaining multiple platforms. Which means less time for other urgent stuff. I would like to wait with this also for some other feedback I am waiting from Philip with whom we want to do some drastic changes in the .deb stuff.
